In order to limit his practice to the specialty of Prosthodontics Dr. Chandler completed two years post dental school-training program in Prosthodontics and has practiced in Lexington since 1982. A unique feature of Dr. Chandler's office is most laboratory procedures are done by Dr. Chandler or in a laboratory in his building under his close supervision. This allows the patients to have contact with dental ceramicists and technicians so that tooth color matching and other modifications can be done in a timely and efficient manner. Dr. Chandler has worked with the same ceramicists and technicians for over 20 years.

Dr. Chandler was one of the first dentists in the United States trained in the emerging dental implant technologies of the early 1980's and has several patients  with implant restorations over 20 years old. Dr. Chandler has maintained a close professional relationship with several oral surgeons and periodontists for over 20 years and using the "team concept" for implant treatment, he can trust these surgeons to provide his patients with optimal surgical and dental implant care.
